October 3, 2022: Garner, NC 27529 The Clayton Comets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host South Garner Titans to 0 in the Comets non-league victory on Monday.
The Comets now possess a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Raleigh for a game on Tuesday, October 4. Clayton will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-10.
The Titans (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Garner (Garner, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Garner was dropped by Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
