October 3, 2022: Murphy, NC 28906 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) and the visiting Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), saw Murphy's soccer squad triumph over Andrews by a margin of 6-1.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Swain County for a Smoky Mountain 1A test on Wednesday, October 5. Murphy will meet a Maroon Devils squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Tri-County (Murphy, NC). The Maroon Devils record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Andrews drops to 0-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Highlands (Highlands, NC) to meet the Highlanders in a Smoky Mountain 1A test on Thursday, October 6. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 4-3. Highlands won 9-0 in their recent league test against Tri-County (Murphy, NC)
