October 3, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27101 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC), saw Atkins's soccer squad get by Eastern Guilford by a margin of 4-3.
The Camels now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to High Point Central for a Mid-State 3A test on Tuesday, October 10. Atkins will meet a Bison squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Bison record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Eastern Guilford drops to 9-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to meet the Storm in a Mid-State 3A test on Wednesday, October 4. The Storm come into the test with a record of 1-8. Southern Guilford lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC)
