New York High School Volleyball - Albany Academy for Girls overwhelmed by Academy of the Holy Names
October 3, 2023: Albany, NY 12208 In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Academy of the Holy Names volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Albany Academy for Girls Bears.
The (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Riders come into the Section 2 Colonial - Liberty battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Ichabod Crane defeated Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Bears encounter the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Indians (Ravena, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty battle, on Thursday, October 5. Albany Academy for Girls will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 2-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY).
