The Academy of the Holy Names topped the host Voorheesville Blackbirds volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league test.
The now have a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cohoes for a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty test on Thursday, September 28. Academy of the Holy Names will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
The Blackbirds (6-4) will now prepare for their test against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY). The Cadets enter the test with a 0-12 record. In their last test, La Salle Institute was knocked off by Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY), 3-0, in a league test.
