October 3, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70805 East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Baton Rouge Bulldogs (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA) in a Division I District 4 match, on Wednesday, October 4. East Ascension will attempt to advance on its 17-15 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the match with a 9-14 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Zachary (Zachary, LA).
