New York High School Volleyball - Galway over Niskayuna
October 3, 2023: Galway, NY 12074 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Galway Golden Eagles (Galway, NY) volleyball team toppled the visiting Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY), by a count of 3-0.
The Golden Eagles (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mekeel Christian Academy (Schenectady, NY). The Lions enter the Section 2 Western - Northern challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Mekeel Christian Academy defeated Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Silver Warriors encounter the Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Grey challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Niskayuna will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Flying Horses enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 2-1 league loss to Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY).
