The McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) volleyball overcame the visiting Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets (Grand Island, NE), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, McCool Junction upgrades its record to 7-13 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE) to clash with the Huskies in a C2 District 7 match on Thursday, October 5. The Huskies come into the match with a record of 11-10.
