New Jersey High School Volleyball - Kearny edged by Union City
October 3, 2023: Kearny, NJ 07032 The Union City Soaring Eagles held off the host Kearny Kardinals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Soaring Eagles now have a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hudson Catholic for a Hudson County - Coviello test on Thursday, October 5. Union City will confront a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 league win over Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 10-0.
The Kardinals (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Harrison (Harrison, NJ). The Blue Tide enter the non-league test with a 5-4 record.
