October 3, 2023: Maumelle, AR 72113 The Sylvan Hills Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Maumelle Hornets to 0 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vilonia for a 5A Central game on Thursday, October 5. Sylvan Hills will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mount St. Mary Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.
The Hornets (4-13) will now prepare for their game against Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Warriors enter the 5A Central game with a 12-6 record. In their last game, Little Rock Christian Academy defeated Parkview (Little Rock, AR), 3-0, in a league game.
