Iowa High School Volleyball - WACO overwhelmed by Winfield-Mt. Union
October 3, 2023: Winfield, IA 52659 In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the WACO Warriors.
The Wolves (16-12) will now prepare for their battle against Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Panthers come into the SEI - North battle with a 4-16 record. In their last battle, Pekin lost by Wapello (Wapello, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Warriors encounter the Washington Demons (Washington, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. WACO will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Demons come into the battle with a 10-14 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Keokuk (Keokuk, IA).
