October 3, 2024: Danville, VA 24541 The George Washington Eagles football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Magna Vista Warriors to 7 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martinsville for a test on Thursday, October 10. George Washington will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 20-14 non-league loss to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Magna Vista drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Gretna (Gretna, VA) to meet the Hawks in a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 0-5. Gretna lost 15-14 in their recent non-league test against Dan River (Ringgold, VA)
