October 3, 2024: Kenly, NC 27542 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) and the visiting Goldsboro Cougars (Goldsboro, NC), observed North Johnston's volleyball team hold off Goldsboro by a count of 2-1.
The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, Eastern Wayne was tipped by Beddingfield (Wilson, NC), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cougars battle the Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 7. Goldsboro will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Saints enter the contest with a 2-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC).
