New Mexico High School Soccer - Bernalillo toppled by Albuquerque Academy
October 3, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), 4-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Albuquerque Academy moves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Chargers host Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 6-7. Los Alamos lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM)
The Spartans now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Valley for a 4A District 6 test on Tuesday, October 8. Bernalillo will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 4-3 league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings record now stands at 4-11.
