North Carolina High School Soccer - Carolina International toppled by Jackson Day
October 3, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28214 Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 6-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Jackson Day moves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Knights come into the test with a record of 6-3. Gray Stone Day won 3-1 in their recent league test against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)
The Comets now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Sugar Creek for a Metro Eight 1A match on Friday, October 4. Carolina International will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-8.
