October 3, 2024: Woodstock, GA 30189 The Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) softball nipped the host Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA), 2-1 in Thursday's league outing.
The Chiefs now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walton for a non-league outing on Monday, October 7. Sequoyah will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 9-1 league win over Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 12-14.
With the loss, Woodstock moves to 12-14 on the season. The Wolverines host Pope (Marietta, GA) to encounter the Greyhounds in a 5A Region 6 outing on Friday, October 4. The Greyhounds come into the outing with a record of 15-7. Pope won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Cambridge (Milton, GA)
