October 3, 2024: Birch Run, MI 48415 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI) and the visiting Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI), observed Birch Run's volleyball team hold off Valley Lutheran by a count of 2-1.
The Panthers (24-4) will now prepare for their contest against Yale (Yale, MI). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Yale got by Almont (Almont, MI), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Chargers meet the Durand Railroaders (Durand, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. Valley Lutheran will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Railroaders enter the contest with a 13-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI).
