The Central Private Redhawks volleyball squad (Baker, LA), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA)

With the win, Catholic of Pointe Coupee improves its record to 10-7 on the season. The Hornets host North Iberville (Rosedale, LA) to encounter the Bears in a Division V District 4 battle on Tuesday, October 8. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 7-4.

The Redhawks now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Lafourche for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. Central Private will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-10.
