October 3, 2024: Chariton, IA 50049 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Chariton Chargers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Wayne Falcons.
The Chargers (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 24-2 record. In their last challenge, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont got by Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Mount Ayr Raiders (Mount Ayr, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Wayne will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 13-14 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA).
