In Thursday's league challenge, the host Mica Mountain Thunderbolts volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Walden Grove Red Wolves.

The Thunderbolts (17-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 12-12 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton beat Basha (Chandler, AZ), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Red Wolves play the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A - Kino challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Walden Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record.
