The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm volleyball squad (Sauk Rapids, MN), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league battle with the host Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN)

With the win, Willmar improves its record to 12-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Byron (Byron, MN) to encounter the Bears in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 14-3. Byron lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Chatfield (Chatfield, MN)

The Storm now own a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4.
