Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Winona Tigers (Winona, MS), 44-36 in a league battle.

With the win, Aberdeen improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS) to play the Chargers in a 3A Region 4 battle on Friday, October 10. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Choctaw County won 48-6 in their recent league battle against Nettleton (Nettleton, MS)

The Tigers now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Noxubee County for a 3A Region 4 match on Friday, October 10. Winona will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 28-20 non-league win over Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
