California High School Football - Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory loses to Archbishop Riordan

October 3, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94109

In Friday's league match, the visiting Archbishop Riordan Crusaders football squad scored a good 56-30 victory over the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish.

The Crusaders (5-0) will now prepare for their match against St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats enter the West Catholic match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, St. Ignatius College Preparatory was beaten by Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA), 45-10, in a league battle.

The Fightin' Irish now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Junipero Serra for a West Catholic battle on Saturday, October 11. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will play a Padres team coming off a 45-10 league win over St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Padres record now stands at 2-3.
