Idaho High School Football - Bear Lake tops South Fremont

October 3, 2025: Montpelier, ID 83254

The Bear Lake Bears football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting South Fremont Cougars to 20 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host American Falls for a 4A South East Idaho test on Friday, October 10. Bear Lake will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 34-6 non-league win over South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID). The Beavers record now stands at 5-1.

The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID). The Diggers go into the 4A Mountain Rivers challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Sugar-Salem toppled Preston (Preston, ID), 42-0, in a non-league challenge.
