The Bishop Manogue Miners got by the visiting Douglas Tigers football team by a score of 48-46 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Miners play the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) in a 5A Northern challenge, on Friday, October 17. Bishop Manogue will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 50-13 league win over Galena (Reno, NV).

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Carson (Carson City, NV). The Senators go into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Carson tipped Hug (Reno, NV), 49-6, in a league test.
