In Friday's league game, the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) football team triumphed over the host Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV), by a tally of 46-14.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) in a 5A Northern contest, on Friday, October 31. Spanish Springs will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 53-10 league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV).
