The Spanish Springs Cougars football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Reed Raiders to 15 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Damonte Ranch for a 5A Northern challenge on Friday, October 3. Spanish Springs will face a Mustangs team coming off a 42-19 league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.

The Raiders (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Galena (Reno, NV). The Grizzlies enter the 5A Northern challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Galena was ripped by Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV), 41-9, in a league challenge.
