Nevada High School Football - Galena crushed by Reed

October 3, 2025: Sparks, NV 89434

The Reed Raiders walloped the visiting Galena Grizzlies football team by a score of 50-13 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders face the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a 5A Northern challenge, on Friday, October 17. Reed will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Miners go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 48-46 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).

With the defeat, Galena drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV) to meet the Mustangs in a 5A Northern test on Friday, October 17. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-4. Damonte Ranch lost 49-6 in their recent league test against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV)
