The Boswell Pioneers football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Crowley Eagles to 27 in the Pioneers league triumph on Friday.

The Pioneers now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mansfield Legacy for a 6A Region I District 3 test on Thursday, October 9. Boswell will face a Broncos team coming off a 52-49 league win over Weatherford (Weatherford, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 3-3.

The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mansfield (Mansfield, TX). The Tigers go into the 6A Region I District 3 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Mansfield was nipped by Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX), 44-21, in a league test.
