Boswell Pioneers (Fort Worth, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX), 44-35 in a league battle.

With the win, Boswell advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX) to play the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 3 battle on Friday, November 7. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 7-2. Lake Ridge won 56-21 in their recent league battle against Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX)

The Kangaroos now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Mansfield for a 6A Region I District 3 match on Thursday, November 6. Weatherford will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 70-21 league loss to North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
