The John Champe Knights football team (Aldie, VA), was tipped 13-7 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA)

With the win, Briar Woods advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Falcons host Freedom (South Riding, VA) to confront the Eagles in a Potomac contest on Friday, October 10. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 4-1. Freedom lost 14-13 in their recent league contest against Lightridge (Aldie, VA)

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA) in a Potomac contest, on Thursday, October 9. John Champe will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Ram enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 36-13 non-league loss to Heritage (Leesburg, VA).
