The Mary G. Montgomery Vikings walloped the visiting Bryant Hurricanes football team by a score of 42-8 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Fairhope Pirates (Fairhope, AL) in a 7A Region 1 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Mary G. Montgomery will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 38-13 league win over Foley (Foley, AL).

The Hurricanes (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Daphne (Daphne, AL). The Trojans go into the 7A Region 1 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Daphne triumphed over Davidson (Mobile, AL), 50-20, in a league test.
