Arizona High School Football - Desert Mountain defeats Cactus Shadows

In Friday's league match, the host Desert Mountain Wolves football squad scored a good 49-20 victory over the Cactus Shadows Falcons.

The Wolves (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ). The Nighthawks go into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Ironwood Ridge was topped by Marana (Tucson, AZ), 49-0, in a league battle.

The Falcons now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Horizon for a 5A Northeast Valley battle on Friday, October 10. Cactus Shadows will play a Huskies team coming off a 42-41 league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 5-1.
