South Carolina High School Football - Carolina Academy toppled by Palmetto

The Carolina Academy Trojans football team (Greenville, SC), dropped 28-0 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC)

With the win, Palmetto advances its record to 1-5 on the season. The Mustangs host Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC) to confront the Sabres in a AAA Region 2 contest on Friday, October 10. The Sabres enter the contest with a record of 1-5. Southside Christian lost 24-0 in their recent league bout against Powdersville (Greenville, SC)

The Trojans now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph's Catholic for a AAA Region 2 bout on Friday, October 10. Carolina Academy will encounter a Knights team coming off a 39-34 league loss to Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.
