North Carolina High School Football - Holly Springs edged by Cary

October 3, 2025: Holly Springs, NC 27540

In Friday's league game, the Cary Imps (Cary, NC) football team edged the host Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC), by a tally of 36-31.

In their next game, the Imps face the Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) in a Triangle Six 6A/7A game, on Friday, October 10. Cary will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Spartans come into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 38-7 league loss to Middle Creek (Apex, NC).

With the defeat, Holly Springs drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Golden hawks travel to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Crusaders in a Triangle Six 6A/7A outing on Friday, October 10. The Crusaders come into the outing with a record of 5-1. Cardinal Gibbons won 42-0 in their recent non-league game against Ambassador Christian School (Huntersville, NC)
