Rhode Island High School Football - Central Falls falls to Ponaganset

October 3, 2025: North Scituate, RI 02857

The Ponaganset Chieftains felled the visiting Central Falls Warriors football team by a score of 40-20 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Chieftains meet the Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 10. Ponaganset will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Blue Wave come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 32-0 league loss to Smithfield (Esmond, RI).

With the defeat, Central Falls drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI) to meet the Titans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Toll Gate lost 34-6 in their recent league challenge against North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI)
