The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Moreno Valley Vikings (Moreno Valley, CA) and the visiting Citrus Hill Hawks (Perris, CA), witnessed Moreno Valley's football squad wallop Citrus Hill by a tally of 42-7.

The Vikings (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage (Menifee, CA). The Patriots enter the Inland Valley contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Heritage crushed Canyon Springs (Moreno Valley, CA), 40-31, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Hawks battle the Perris Panthers (Perris, CA) in a Inland Valley bout, on Friday, October 10. Citrus Hill will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 13-9 league win over Lakeside (Lake Elsinore, CA).
