New York High School Football - Curtis trounces New Dorp
October 3, 2025: Staten Island, NY 10301 In Friday's league match, the host Curtis Warriors football squad scored a decisive 49-0 victory over the New Dorp Central Cougars.
The Warriors (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Kennedy (Bronx, NY). The Knights enter the PSAL 4A match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Kennedy routed Fort Hamilton (Brooklyn, NY), 58-20, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Central Cougars confront the Brooklyn Technical Engineers (Brooklyn, NY) in a PSAL 4A challenge, on Saturday, October 18. New Dorp will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Engineers go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 36-29 league loss to South Shore (Brooklyn, NY).
