The Laurel Locomotives (Laurel, MT) football tipped the visiting East Helena Vigilantes (East Helena, MT), 25-19 in Friday's league outing.

The Locomotives now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Park for a A - Central outing on Friday, October 10. Laurel will battle a Rangers team coming off a 64-7 league loss to Havre (Havre, MT). The Rangers record now stands at 0-6.

The Vigilantes (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Browning (Browning, MT). The Indians enter the A - Central game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Browning was edged by Fergus (Lewistown, MT), 59-16, in a league game.
