Skyline Prep Bengals (Phoenix, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Heritage Academy Gateway Heroes (Queen Creek, AZ), 28-22 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Skyline Prep upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Mission Heights Prep (Casa Grande, AZ) to meet the Phantoms in a non-league match on Friday, October 17. The Phantoms come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.

The Heroes (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against American Leadership Academy (Sierra Vista, AZ). The go into the Canyon III challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, American Leadership Academy was edged by AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, AZ), 6-0, in a league test.
