The Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL) football knocked off the host Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL), 34-12 in Friday's league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hillcrest for a 7A Region 3 outing on Friday, October 10. Thompson will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 63-21 league win over Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Hewitt-Trussville drops to 6-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Prattville (Prattville, AL) to clash with the Lions in a 7A Region 3 outing on Friday, October 10.
