The Huntington Beach Oilers overwhelmed the visiting Laguna Hills Hawks football squad by a margin of 65-10 in Friday's league test.

The Oilers now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Habra for a Epsilon test on Friday, October 10. Huntington Beach will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 42-3 league win over El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, Laguna Hills falls to 3-3 on the year. The Hawks host Foothill (Santa Ana, CA) to face the Knights in a Epsilon challenge on Friday, October 10. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Foothill lost 40-14 in their recent league challenge against Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA)
