California High School Football - Maranatha sneaks past Linfield Christian

October 3, 2025: Temecula, CA 92592

The Maranatha Minutemen football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Linfield Christian Lions to 14 in the Minutemen league triumph on Friday.

The Minutemen now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Western Christian for a Mesquite challenge on Friday, October 10. Maranatha will face a Fighting Lancers team coming off a 40-15 league win over Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA). The Fighting Lancers record now stands at 6-0.

The Lions (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Arrowhead Christian (Redlands, CA). The Eagles enter the Mesquite challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Arrowhead Christian was nipped by Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA), 7-6, in a league test.
