The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes (Schuylkill Haven, PA) and the visiting Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA), saw Schuylkill Haven's football team bounce Marian Catholic by a final score of 55-14.

With the win, Schuylkill Haven advances its record to 7-0 on the season. The Hurricanes host Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA) to encounter the Cardinals in a Colonial-Schuylkill - C bout on Friday, October 10. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Pine Grove won 43-9 in their recent league bout against Minersville (Minersville, PA)

The now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Williams Valley for a Colonial-Schuylkill - C match on Friday, October 10. Marian Catholic will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 35-14 league win over Panther Valley (Lansford, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-1.
