The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA) and the host Panther Valley Panthers (Lansford, PA), witnessed Marian Catholic's football squad knock off Panther Valley by a tally of 39-12.

The (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Shenandoah Valley (Shenandoah, PA). The Blue Devils enter the Colonial-Schuylkill - C contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Shenandoah Valley was outscored by Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA), 54-6, in a league bout.

The Panthers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Grove for a Colonial-Schuylkill - C bout on Saturday, September 13. Panther Valley will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 24-0 league loss to Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.
