The Moberly Spartans football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Marshall Owls to 6 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hannibal for a North Central Missouri test on Friday, October 10. Moberly will face a Pirates team coming off a 42-6 league win over Kirksville (Kirksville, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 5-1.

The Owls (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fulton (Fulton, MO). The Hornets go into the North Central Missouri challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Fulton lost by Mexico (Mexico, MO), 63-42, in a league challenge.
