West Virginia High School Football - Mount View loses to Wyoming East
October 3, 2025: Welch, WV 24801 Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV), 20-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Wyoming East advances its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host PikeView (Princeton, WV) to confront the Panthers in a Coalfield AA match on Friday, October 10. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 4-1. PikeView won 54-29 in their recent non-league match against Sissonville (Charleston, WV)
Coming up next, the Golden Knights confront the Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 10. Mount View will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 66-20 non-league loss to East Hardy (Baker, WV).
