The Tug Valley Panthers football squad scored 60 points and limited the host Mount View Golden Knights to 28 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Tolsia for a Coalfield A challenge on Friday, October 24. Tug Valley will face a Rebels team coming off a 50-30 league loss to Sherman (Seth, WV). The Rebels record now stands at 2-5.

The Golden Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV). The Blue Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Magnolia was ripped by St. Marys (St. Marys, WV), 44-14, in a non-league challenge.
