September 5, 2025: Welch, WV 24801 In Friday's league game, the Man Hillbillies (Man, WV) football squad trounced the host Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV), by a margin of 42-0.
The Hillbillies now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westside for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Man will clash with a Renegades squad coming off a 32-12 league loss to Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Renegades record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Mount View drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Golden knights travel to Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV) to battle the Rebels in a Coalfield A contest on Friday, September 12. The Rebels enter the contest with a record of 0-2. Tolsia lost 20-19 in their recent non-league contest against Sissonville (Charleston, WV)
