October 3, 2025: Whitharral, TX 79380 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Whitharral Panthers (Whitharral, TX) and the visiting Nazareth Swifts (Nazareth, TX), witnessed Whitharral's football squad wallop Nazareth by a tally of 72-24.
The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lazbuddie (Lazbuddie, TX). The Longhorns enter the 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 3 (6 Man) contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Lazbuddie was trounced by Logan (Logan, NM), 50-0, in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Swifts encounter the Kress Kangaroos (Kress, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 2 (6 Man) bout, on Friday, October 10. Nazareth will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Kangaroos go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 34-30 non-league loss to White Deer (White Deer, TX).
